What is the Cervino CineMountain Festival?
The Cervino CineMountain is above all a Film Contest. As well as putting together the winning films of other festivals and awarding the "Oscar of the Oscars" for the best mountain film of the year, the festival offers a selection of top quality works which portray the mountains under all their different facets.
The Cervino CineMountain Festival is an event promoted by the Town of Valtournenche and organized by the Strade del Cinema Cultural Association. Its President is the storical Cervino-Matterhorn Guide Antonio Carrel and the two co-directors are Luisa Montrosset and Luca Bich.
The highest film festival in Europe is offering three different but complementary sections: Cervinia Mon Amour, AntropoMount and Festival Concorso. As usual, it will take place in Breuil-Cervinia and Valtournenche, from July, 30th to August, 8th.
